Thank you Carol! I have MCS (Multiple Chemical Sensitivity) & Celiac’s and have been on rotation/gluten-free diet for 3 years now. After 1 month on SCD I am already doing better in many areas, but have very specific questions concerning myriad food allergies w/ rotation diet w/ SCD; I’m finding my pool of acceptable foods quite limited. If anyone has advice/experience/thoughts I’d love to hear.

      @ Barbara,

In the beginning my “food safe zone” was not very big. But once you find yours and start feeling good it will grow and grow as you heal. Eventually, you will have a massive array of delicious SCD legal foods that are natural and healthy.

Until then focus on healing and feeling good. It will come.

      In good health,

      Hi Barbara,

I am so glad you have discovered SCD and it’s been helping you! I would suggest you get involved with the Yahoo SCD group – it’s called Breaking the Vicious Cycle. There are some incredible SCD’ers there who have an immense amount of knowledge about a lot of detailed issues – that’s where I go when I have questions as well. They’re a very committed and caring group and I’m sure they’ll be happy to help you!

Thank you for posting this interview! There are so many great tips and reminders. SCD is one of the most balanced healing type diets that can indeed be followed for life if someone needs to. It’s unusual in that respect. There is a lot of variety!
