When You Just Want to Stay in Bed… (Podcast 24)

You know those days when you just wanna lay in bed ALL DAY?

I’m talking about those REALLY bad days when you’re sick and all you want is for the rest of the world to leave you alone…

If you know what I’m talking about, then you’ll relate to a song I heard recently. It’s called “The Lazy Song,” by Bruno Mars. Check out the chorus:

“Today I Don’t Feel Like Doing Anything
I Just Wanna Lay In My Bed
Don’t Feel Like Pickin’ Up My Phone
So Leave A Message At The Tone
‘Cause Today I Swear I’m Not Doin’ Anythin’
Nothin’ At All”

Maybe you’ve heard it?

Back when I was sick, that was EXACTLY how I felt most days.

But Most Days We Don’t Have Time to Be Sick

You may know what those miserable days are like.

Those days where all we want to do is curl up in bed, turn off our phones, and have everyone LEAVE US ALONE.

Is Leaky Gut Making You Sicker?

And the worst part?

Most of the time we can’t do anything close to that. We just don’t have time to be sick!

We have to suck it up and go to work or put a smile on our face and be a parent. We have to carry on with life despite the “black cloud” hanging over us.

And this song made me feel that all over again.

But This Time I Couldn’t Help But Smile Thinking About It…

I haven’t felt that bad in a long time… and sometimes I forget what those days were like.

The thing is we want that for you too…

And on today’s podcast we answer more of your questions to help you get there as quickly as possible.

Thanks for answering my questions about ground meat without broth. I have started buying chicken/turkey from the farmers market and coop and cutting it up and grinding it myself in my kitchen aid grinder.

Seems to be a little cheaper and taste pretty awesomely fresh and less slimy.

Love the idea about finding a local butcher and having them grind your goods without the bads.

Your podcast is really, really good! – thank you so much for keeping it rocking. Its helped my brother an I, both crohns sufferers, a ton.

And mom loves it too! haha, thanks

Hey guys, thanks for another great podcast. I have a question -not really of pressing urgency, as I’m still transitioning out of Stage 2 into Stage 3 (after six months!). I can’t wait to have raw fruits and veggies, and wondered if you guys do juicing, especially of veggies. Do you recommend juicing, and if so, can you recommend a particular juicer? My vegan friend recommends the Vitamix, but it’s super expensive, and I’ve also heard that it’s just a glorified blender. I’ve heard good things about the Jack LaLane juicer, and that you can turn the $100 juicer into a $300 if you take the separated pulp and squeeze the juice from it into the other juice using a nut milk bag. Sounds like a good buy to me. Your thoughts on juicing? Thanks, Anne Marie
