SCD can be hard…
But it’s not the food change that makes it hard.
It’s the hope, inspiration, and support you need to get through it…
… that’s what makes all the difference in the world.
And that’s why we’ve been working so hard to build that for you on our Facebook page.
That’s Where We Met Ankit
Ankit started making friends with us on Facebook and I was instantly inspired by his ability to offer hope and support to others that were just starting out on SCD.
He’s been through it all and back again…
So it just made sense for us to get together and share his SCD success story in this podcast interview.
On This Podcast with Ankit, You’ll Learn:
1:36 How he went from obstructions and 8 months on a liquid diet… to full-blown Crohn’s Disease
9:20 The psychological trick that finally helped him STOP cheating on SCD
10:24 “In two months, I was getting consistantly normal Bowel Movements… my acne cleared up, I had more energy, and I got significantly better.”
14:06 The exact process he followed when SCD wasn’t working
17:50 How he dealt with food cravings and beat the temptations around family
21:28 His #1 piece of advice for anyone thinking about starting SCD
23:23 How he could tell he was healing and doing the right things on SCD…

This is incredibly informative. I think it is really important for people to know that even though you’ve been doing a strict program for a month, but not seeing the progress that you expect, that progress can still be achieved if you stick with it. When I did the intro to SCD, I was very strict and felt worse before I got better, and it was longer than a week. I went through some pretty intense withdrawals. After a month, I had made tiny bits of progress, but not a lot. Breaking the Vicious Cycle says that if it hasn’t worked in a month, it probably won’t. Thank you Steve, Jordan and Ankit for informing people otherwise and giving people hope.
You’re welcome Shannon – you rock!!
In good health,
Jordan
I hate the chicken soup too 🙂 Nice trick.
Thanks Terri, you’re absolutely right…it is right around the corner. Sometimes it just takes one or two tweaks to take off. I myself did a lot of experimentation and i still do with both diet and supplements. Good luck!
Thanks to Jordan and Steve!
Thanks, Ankit and Jordan, for having this podcast. We enjoyed listening and we’re pressing on with the SCD for our own healing. It hasn’t come yet, but I believe it is right around the corner. God’s blessings to you.
Correction: Sorry guys by mistake i said that i went to see a gastroenterology in April 2009 whereas it was April 2010 and i got diagnosed after it.
