And yet we are still teaching the same nutrition information that we were 50 years ago.
Americans have the worst health they’ve ever had. Something has to change, because if it doesn’t diabetes, obesity and chronic disease are expected to keep rising at alarming rates. It has to change!
And it has to be a mainstream change; most likely people are not going to all adopt SCD (I know bummer right). This is why I was so excited to meet Jonathan Bailor and learn what he was up to. His book, The Smarter Science of Slim, details how after failing to help himself and others using conventional nutrition he decided to review over 1000+ research studies and see what they really said.
He was shocked to find that science had changed what it thought of foods but what we are being taught has not changed.
