Why Would You Need This?

You have genetics that cause you to produce less DAO or to clear histamine too slowly:

Genetics can be a factor and SNPs in certain genes (MTHFR, HMNT, AOC1) can affect your need for help from DAO because histamine can build up too quickly. Research shows at least 16% of people genetically don’t make enough DAO due to SNPs in their DAO gene.

You have gut inflammation that decreases your DAO production:

Gut infections and overgrowths (like SIBO) increase gut inflammation, which can inhibit DAO production and, at the same time, cause increased histamine release.

You regularly consume beverages or medications that inhibit DAO:

Including: alcohol, tea, ibuprofen, prokinetics, expectorants, diuretics, antidepressants, and more!

You produce more histamine in your gut due to MCAS:

How Do I Use HistaHarmony™?

NOTE – Do not chew the tablets – they must be swallowed whole so the protective enteric coating remains intact.

For food-related histamine reactions: Take 1 tablet 20 minutes before eating histamine-rich foods.

If you’re not seeing results with this method, experiment with taking HistaHarmony™ at different times of the day.

For gut and full-body histamine support: Take 1 capsule at least 30 minutes away from meals or on an empty stomach when you usually experience histamine-related symptoms. For example, if you get flushed at night, take HistaHarmony™ before bedtime.

If your baseline histamine levels are already running high, you may experience more symptom relief and improved histamine tolerance by taking DAO away from food.

Histamine Support Protocols:

Daily Maintenance:

Take 1 tablet 20 minutes before eating or drinking something (wine, coffee) that may trigger histamine issues.

Acute Dosage:

Onset of allergies, itching, headaches, or other histamine-like symptoms, take 1-2 tablets immediately.

Lower your Histamine Set Point Protocol:

For eight weeks:

Take 1 tablet 20 minutes prior to eating.

Take 1 tablet between lunch and dinner on an empty stomach

Take 1 tablet around 1 hour before bed on an empty stomach

NOTE: you can take 2 or more tablets at once if you don’t notice any effects. Each individual has a different need.

How Long Will it Take to Work?

Depending on your overall histamine load, it could take several days to a few weeks to notice changes, but we think you may notice benefits the first time you take HistaHarmony™.

If you don’t notice results after a week or two, try changing the timing. For example, if you’ve been taking HistaHarmony™ with meals, try taking it on an empty stomach (like before bed and between meals).

What Happens If I Feel….?

Nothing? Try taking HistaHarmony™ on an empty stomach between meals and/or at bedtime. If still no change, try increasing the number of tablets you take daily.
